The Patrol Division of the Greenville Police Department is the most visible group of the Police Department. These dedicated officers patrol the streets of Greenville 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and respond to a wide variety of calls. The uniformed division of the Department is the front line in the fight against crime. Their dedication to the Department, as well as the citizens, is measured in the impressive crime stats which tell the world that the City of Greenville is a safe place to live. The Patrol Division is led by Captain Byron Russell.
