Outdoor Activities

Outdoor activities abound in Greenville. The world class Cambrian Ridge on the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail fills the need for golf enthusiasts. For those who prefer nature walks and wooded glades, Sherling Lake park fits their requirements. Hunting for deer, turkey, and quail are all available through private guides, and fishing in the many creeks and ponds rounds out the call of the wild.  There's always the shaded trails and campsites of Sherling Lake Park, as well as the many parks found throughout the Camellia City.

Tourism

Greenville sits in a wonderful location on Interstate 65, just 40 miles south of Montgomery, our state capitol.  We have two exits off the Interstate, Exit 128 and 130.  These exits are a hub of activity where travelers can fill up with gasoline, grab a bite to eat or stay the night in one of the city’s many hotels.  Shopping centers - offering everything from shoes to cellular phones, farm supplies to groceries – help make Greenville a one-stop source for shoppers.
